Not every day is going to be peaches and cream. Not every day is going to be in the spring time. I’ve been going through a lot lately and it really gave me clarity of vision. The bigger picture is bigger than we can even conceptualize, and it has to be in order for us to refocus ourselves. If one of us got all the pieces to the puzzle there wouldn’t be any need for the rest of the pieces (i.e. YOU). Even though, right now some have completed that puzzle for themselves and are living in that space and you may feel this way too, there are still yet other pieces yet to be fulfilled, collectively. Take, for example, a 1000 piece puzzle, it feels amazing to complete it, and just as amazing was the experience of putting the pieces together. Sometimes we try to force fit pieces that look like they should be together, for the sake of completion, but it just doesn’t look right. And other times still, we get on a roll and put together half of the puzzle in mere minutes.
Now take this idea of the puzzle and say you’ve completed your 1000 piece puzzle in one lifetime. Absolutely amazing right? But its still not complete is it? You’ll notice that the edges are slightly skewed, like they fit inside of a much larger picture. The puzzle of life. Everyone has their own 1000 piece puzzle to work out and the great alchemists of the old world would call this the “The great work” or the “legacy”. However, most importantly I would say, is the collective legacy. What would we say about humans? What have we left behind as a conscious part of ourselves? What is our legacy to the rest of the conscious network of multidimensional energies?
This is precisely why I feel like that just as important as it is to achieve, so too is the notion of teaching and sharing that knowledge, so that more of the puzzle can take shape. Because, as incredibly beautiful as it is to realize your own perfection, you form the keys in which others can unlock themselves. The dynamism of life is realizing the connection you have with everything in the world. An ornate key that sits on the shelf gathers dust.
Mozart was quoted saying “The music is not in the notes, but in the silence between”
I realized today that in order to see true beauty there has to be contrast, otherwise everything would just be grey. Also, in alchemy, there is a process known as isolating the constituents, in which, the three main components of a material can be split away from its original state. The purpose of this is the make pure those three elements and recombine them in whats known as the ‘cohobation’ or the “alchemical marriage”. Thus, taking what is already perfect in nature, and exalting it.
I may not know everything there is to know, and I may not have built up my 1000 piece puzzle yet, but I’m extremely grateful to know that there are others who have. I’m extremely grateful that I have all of my experiences and all the people, friends, and family that have come into my life. A true blessing for me is being able to be alive, and feel things, see all of the colors, taste all of the sweetness in the world, hug the earth with every inch of my being. A true blessing is being able to breathe. Whatever else happens beyond that is cake for the soul.
Enjoy your day 🙂
